Mushaal criticizes global inaction as Kashmir, Gaza become ‘graveyards for children’

ISLAMABAD, Jan 15 (SABAH): Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization strongly condemned the Indian supremacist Indian government and Zionist regime for unabated human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Gaza, lamenting that these war-devastated areas had been converted into “graveyards for children” but the world observed complete criminal silence in this regard.

Speaking as Chief Guest at a colourful Annual Sports Gala of Private Educational Society & Chamber of Education Islamabad (Regd) held at Pakistan Sports Complex, Mushaal, wife of unlawfully imprisoned senior hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, said that the brutal actions of Israeli and Indian forces made life a hell for Kashmir and Palestine children, who were facing severe human rights violations.

Around 5000 students of more than 45 private educational institutions along with their parents were participated in the Gala. Students participated in different sports including Tri-cycle race, 50, 100, 200, 400 meter races, sack race, Long Jump, Spoon race, One legged race and Tug of War competition.

The students showcased their talent in highly impressive manner, spectators were spell-bounded by the performances of the kids. Highlighting the importance of peace, cultural preservation, and social harmony, she emphasized the role of cultural initiatives in fostering understanding and unity among diverse communities.

The event brought together leaders, activists, and community members to support initiatives aimed at building a more inclusive and peaceful society. She demanded that the world powers and human rights organisations should take immediate notice and take practical steps to put a stop the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing of Kashmiris and Palestinians people at the hands the Indian and Israeli occupation forces.

On the occasion, the hurriyat interacted with children and emphasized the stark contrast between children’s lives in peaceful areas and those in conflict zones like Kashmir and Palestine. Mushaal stated that children in Pakistan can enjoy games, sports complexes, and other recreational activities, their counterparts in Kashmir and Palestine are deprived of such basic rights.

She pressed that international should take a swift action to protect the rights and well-being of children in these war-ravaged regions. Mushaal highlighted the alarming number of casualties, including over 5,000 children murdered in Gaza and 919 children martyred in Kashmir since 1989. She also stressed that thousands of children are suffering from arbitrary detentions, molestations, and trafficking.

She urged the world leaders and international community to take immediate notice of the human rights violations in Kashmir and Palestine, and to play a role in stopping the genocide of Kashmiris and Palestinians.

During his interaction with a group of children, they raised slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, ‘Kashmir zindabad’ and ‘Pak China friendship zindabad’.
