Israel martyrs over 33 Palestinians in north Gaza amid peace talks

GAZA, Jan 13 (SABAH): A total of 33 Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza since dawn on Monday.

Israeli forces martyr at least five Palestinians in an attack on Salah al-Din School in Gaza City that sheltered forcibly displaced people.

US President Joe Biden has meanwhile stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as negotiations continue in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Israel’s genocide in Gaza has martyred at least 46,584 Palestinians and wounded 109,731 since October 7, 2023.

At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day and more than 200 were taken captive.
