Israel’s fascism has appeared, leadership of Islamic world should make a solid plan of action: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, Jan 10 (SABAH): Former member of National Assembly Sahibzada Tariqullah, former Provincial Assembly Member Muhammad Ali, Emir District Sahibzada Fasihullah and delegation of scholars and business community held meeting with Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch.
Liaqat Baloch while talking to the central leaders of the Political Consultative Meeting and Milli Yekjehti Council said that Israel’s fascism and expansionist ambitions have become evident. Threats are knocking at the doors of every country in the world of Islam, he warned.
The leadership of the world of Islam has to go beyond the traditional conferences and resolutions to create a concrete plan of action to face the political, diplomatic, military and economic challenges, he stressed.
He said after Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, real threats have increased for Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Strong relations between Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan are essential for peace and stability in the region, he added.
Liaqat Baloch said that electricity, gas and oil will be at cheap and affordable prices for the people, then the economic cycle will run and the people will get employment. The government should make electricity cheaper, the people cannot be satisfied by merely appeasing them with wishes, announcements, slogans and expressions of ambitions, he said. On January 17, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman’s call to regarding reducing electricity price will be a nationwide protest, he added.
The reality of agriculture and farmer support measures in Punjab is that agriculture is in dire condition and farmers are left behind, he said while government policy favoring bureaucracy and civil servants. The state and government departments should stop oppressing the people otherwise there will be severe public reaction, he warned.
Liaqat Baloch said it is national responsibility of political democratic forces to get the country out of political, economic and global crises.
