Marriage gifts distributed among the 30 brides under the Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore

LAHORE, Dec 13 (SABAH): Marriage gifts were distributed among the 30 brides under the Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore. In this regard the ceremony was held at the Punjab society community center.

The ceremony was attended by the brides from the deserving families, their mothers alongside incharge marriage program Talat Khan and incharge community services Uzma Muhammad Ali. Meanwhile on the occasion special consular family welfare center Asma Ghani delivered special speech. Bridle dress of bride, other clothes, clothes of groom, dinner set, kitchen items, trunk, jewellery, water cooler, steel posts, water set, cooker, bag and other necessary household items are included in the marriage gift.

While addressing the ceremony Asma Ghani said that it is the desire of all the parents to get their daughters married; however due to current inflation and customs of society fulfilling this responsibility has become very difficult. She said that many girls become aged while sitting at their homes which further becomes the matter of worry and anxiety for the parents.

Asma Ghani said that there is a need to spread awareness among the people and simplicity according to the Islamic teachings should be followed. She said that if we follow the Islamic teachings and life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) then these problems will automatically be resolved.
