Alkhidmat Foundation sponsoring 30,000 courageous orphaned children living with their mothers in their homes: Air Marshal (retd) Farooq Habib

LAHORE, Dec 10 (SABAH): Chairman Orphan Family Support Program Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Air Marshal (retd) Farooq Habib chaired the central board meeting at Head Office Alkhidmat Complex.

National Director Brigadier (retd) Abdul Jabbar Butt, regional directors including team members participated.

On this occasion, the regional co-ordinators presented the annual reports on the working done in the region during the last year and the new model for the education and training of orphaned children was also presented to the board. The board decided the future goals after reviewing the annual performance.

Air Marshal (retd) Farooq Habib said Alkhidmat Foundation is sponsoring 30,000 courageous orphaned children living with their mothers in their homes. Education, health and other facilities including food are also provided, while the mothers of orphaned children are provided with interest-free loans for business so that they are able to support their family better.

He said that the annual health screening of orphan children is done in which expert doctors of each field conduct a complete check-up of the children and provide guidance on medicines and other medical needs for them.
