The nation in which education is made business does not make progress: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
KARACHI, Nov 24 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the nation in which education is made business does not make progress and there is immense potential, countless natural resources and human resource in the country.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing thousands of students who participated in Alkhidmat Bano Qabil Aptitude Test under district leaders in Nishtar Park on Sunday.
He said the imposed corrupt and incapable rulers, aristocracy and landlords have deprived the people from education, health, transport and other basic facilities.
He further said if the Jamaat-e-Islami and Alkhidmat Foundation can make possible free IT courses for thousands of students in the limited resources then why the government and the state cannot do so. He said there is deteriorated condition of schools in the Sindh province.
He said no office-bearers, minister and advisor of PPP want to provide education to his children in the government schools.
He further said after the 18th constitutional amendment, the Sindh government of PPP takes funds from the Centre but it does not transfer resources and powers to the elected local bodies representatives.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that in the next two years, we will give training of IT courses to 10 lakh youth in the whole country. He said that we will distribute laptops and also go for degree programs.
He said there is no transport for the people of Karachi city and the women are forced to travel in rikshaws while on the other side the rulers of Sind make tall claims.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman congratulated all the students for participating in the aptitude test and added we will educate all the students who participated in today’s test and would be promoted.
