APHC urges India to allow UN observers, human rights bodies to visit Occupied Kashmir
SRINAGAR, Nov 24 (SABAH): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged India to allow UN observers, human rights bodies to visit Occupied Kashmir
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the Modi-led Indian regime’s claims of normalcy in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to media reports, in a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minihas argued that the Modi regime has enforced a militarized normalcy in the territory through its massive military presence and repressive measures.
Minihas pointed out that the Indian government’s claims of peace and normalcy are belied by the daily occurrences of cordon-and-search operations.
He said we urge India to allow UN observers, human rights bodies to visit Occupied Kashmir to take stock of ground realities happening in the occupied valley.
He said peace in the region is not possible until and unless the Kashmiri people are not given the right of self-determination. He said the government of India is distorting the facts to promote its false and fabricated narrative.
