Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust organizes mega packing drive of goods bases on the needs of Palestinian, Lebanese women & infants


KARACHI, Nov 19 (SABAH): A mega packing drive of goods based on the needs of Lebanese and Palestinian women and newborn children was organized under Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Pakistan.

A large number of female volunteers of Alkhidmat Women Trust, students of schools, colleges and universities participated in the mega packing drive in the local hall.

The goods readied for Palestinian and Lebanese women included medicines, clothing, foodstuffs, items related to the needs of pregnant women and newborns, and hygiene kits.

On this occasion, relief goods worth millions of rupees were packed which will be sent to Lebanon. President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman inspected the packing drive and witnessed the packing process, expressed his satisfaction and appreciated the spirit of women and volunteers.

He said that the situation in Lebanon and Palestine is dire, he said that he himself has visited the war-affected camps in Lebanon, where people in the camps do not have food, drink and necessities of life and people living a troubled life.

Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that your passion is valuable. So far, goods worth millions of rupees have been sent to the victims of Lebanon and Palestine, adding soon God willing, this aid will also reach these victims. He appealed to the country and the nation to fully support Alkhidmat to show solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters.

Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Ijazullah Khan also visited the mega packing drive activity and saw the packing process there. He said that Alkhidmat is with the troubled Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters in the hour of difficulty, adding it is with them till their full recovery.

Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust Chairperson Naveeda Anees said that so far Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust has delivered five containers worth 30 million rupees to Alkhidmat Foundation’s warehouses, adding Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust will continue this series of assistance to Lebanese and Palestinian brothers and sisters.
