Glorious, proud parade & skill display of Armed Forces enhance national confidence: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, March 23 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council Liaqat Baloch, on the occasion of Pakistan Day on March 23, said that the glorious, proud parade and skill display of Pakistan Armed Forces will enhance national confidence.

He said that the Pakistan Resolution is the Manifesto of Independence, the Pakistan Resolution is not a dream but a moth that was written in the destiny of the Muslims of the subcontinent. The establishment of an Islamic, democratic, independent Muslim state of Pakistan was its goal.

Baloch said that the goals of establishing Pakistan are yet to be achieved. Long struggle and everlasting sacrifices are the goal of an Islamic, stable and prosperous Pakistan. The manifesto of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal for independence, the Two-Nation Theory and democracy, the supremacy of Qur’an and Sunnah is still a living reality.

Liaqat Baloch said that the OIC Islamabad conference was held, it was a very good event. The participation of Islamic countries and China is welcome. This meeting was also filled with speeches, pleasant aspirations and resolutions. The meeting also ended with good wishes.

Liaqat Baloch said that the government will decorate the feathers of the conference in its hat but it is writing on the wall that the conference failed to give a definite position on the Kashmir issue, the success of Afghan people in Afghanistan and the Taliban government was not recognized; there was no strategy for a joint economic, educational and research, scientific and technological advancement. It is not difficult to hold a lifeless, inconclusive conference.

Gathering for a purposeful, fruitful meeting based on the unity of the Ummah and common strategy requires great effort, vision and practical steps, he said adding that Imran Khan’s government could not formulate a common, united foreign policy based on our national priorities. A show like this has never been fruitful in the past and as such will lead to nothing in the future as well.

Addressing a meeting of political committee and dignitaries in Gujranwala, Liaqat Baloch said that the government was in danger. The government is in a state of agitation, panic and terror. Slander, accusations and the most sensational and provocative use of social media have exacerbated the situation. Instead of resolving the grievances of the members who are angry with the government, the government has cracked down on them by making accusations against them. In these circumstances, the government cannot deliver anything. It will create mistrust, uncertainty and more problems.

Baloch said that the tragic incident of Patoki has shown the decay of the system and mismanagement. The national dialogue on the national economy, good governance, electoral reforms, an independent judiciary and the establishment’s exclusion from electoral affairs will only be sustained if new general elections are held without delay. This is the constitutional solution to the crisis.
