He said until the implementation of the Rawalpindi agreement, the struggle will continue.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said in any case, the government will have to bring down the electricity bills, give relief to the people by terminating the contracts of IPPs. He said the interest of the people in the membership campaign of Jamaat-e-Islami is good, adding Jamaat-e-Islami doors are open to all. He said the people should join Jamaat-e-Islami and become part of the peaceful resistance movement.

He said Jamaat-e-Islami will carry out political activities from its own platform throughout the country, whether it is a public movement or a stance or a movement. He said we will go to all parties and continue meetings, according to policy, adding Jamaat-e-Islami will not make any alliance with any party in elections.

Apart from this, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day ” Teknofest Pakistan ” under Islami Jamiat Talba Karachi, said that unfortunately, the frustration is being spread among the youth, adding Jamaat-e-Islami and Alkhidmat will together fight hard against those who disappoint the people and get rid of all such people who have disappointed the youth of Pakistan.

He said the nursery of democracy is the student union, the student union is a constitutional and democratic right, we demand that the student union be restored immediately and elections are held. He said the student union was banned but now nominal democratic parties are in power. Why don’t the so called democratic parties hold student union elections, he questioned.

He said in a country where 65% of the population is youth, the IT sector has nothing but exports of 3 billion dollars, adding we need to promote our youth in the field of IT, adding it is strange that the rulers are bent on reducing the export of their own country by slowing down the internet.

He said it is the responsibility of the government and administration to increase the speed of the Internet and to open platforms. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami and Alkhidmat have taught free IT courses to thousands of students under Banu Kabil Program.
