A dozen shops gutted in shopian fire blaze

SRINAGAR, Oct 12 (SABAH): At least a dozen shops were gutted in fire incident at Awaneera area of south Kashmir’s Shopian.

Reports said that two storied building, ground floor shops of which belonged to Ghulam Hassan Rather, Son of Ghulam Rasool Rather, resident of Awneera were damaged due to massive fire.

As per reports, soon after the fire incident was reported in the area, fire and emergency along with locals rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

Meanwhile, no injuries or loss of life is said to be reported. Police have taken the cognizance of the incident.
