Sehar Kamran strongly condemns the terrorist attack on Chinese convoy near Jinnah Int’l Airport in Karachi


ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (SABAH): Pakistan People’s Party Member National Assembly Sehar Kamran has strongly condemned the terrorist attack near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, which targeted a convoy of Chinese staff from the ‘Port Qasim Electric Power Company’.

In a statement issued on social media, Sehar Kamran said that our heartfelt condolences to the government and people of China. We stand by the victims, their families and all those affected.

She said that this attack, timed to sabotage the upcoming SCO Summit with the scheduled visit of the Chinese PM and other leaders, is a heinous conspiracy we must unite to thwart. She said that immediate investigation is crucial to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Meanwhile in a separate statement Sehar Kamran said that October 7, 2024, marks one year since Israel’s military assault and siege, leading to over 41,000 lives lost, 96,000 injured & 2.3 million displaced. She said that Gaza’s health system has collapsed, vital infrastructure is in ruins, and the humanitarian crisis continues to deepen. Today, Israel poses a significant threat not only to Palestine but also to Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and Yemen.

Sehar Kamran said that after a year of catastrophic failures by the global community, urgent action is essential to halt this aggression and ensure the survival of Palestinians in Gaza. She said that today, the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan are hosting an All Parties Conference at Aiwan-i-Sadr to demonstrate our unified stance against Israeli aggression and reaffirm our unwavering support for the Palestinian people. Together, we raise our voices against oppression, she said.
