In the social & economic development of country the teachers enjoy the position of backbone: Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri

LAHORE, Oct 05 (SABAH): A ceremony was organized at the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan head office in Lahore in connection with the World Teachers Day. The ceremony was attended by Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri and teachers of universities and religious seminaries from whole country.

On the occasion Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri said that the purpose of organizing the ceremony was to pay tribute to the services of the teachers. He said that in any society teachers enjoy the status of architects and play vital role in building the nation.

Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri said that in the social and economic development of country the teachers enjoy the position of backbone.

During the ceremony the lecturers of the various universities and religious seminaries highlighted the problems being faced by the education field and also presented their suggestions.
