JI delegation headed by Hafiz Naeemur Rehman holds detailed meeting with Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim

ISLAMABAD, Oct 04 (SABAH): On the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Jamaat-e-Isalmi Pakistan delegation headed by Emir JI Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman held a detailed meeting with him in Islamabad on Friday.

Jamaat-e-Islami delegation included Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameerul Azim and Director Foreign Affairs JI Asif Luqman Qazi.

During the 45 minutes long meeting, it was agreed that the leadership of the Islamic countries should immediately act to stop Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon. It was also agreed that the protest will be carried out worldwide on 7th October on the completion of one year of Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman paid rich tribute to Anwar Ibrahim for making efforts for treatment of the injured Palestinians. Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim extended invitation to Hafiz Naeemur Rehman for Malaysia visit. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman thanked him and requested him to take special steps for the resolution of the problems facing by overseas Pakistanis present in Malaysia.

Anwar Ibrahim revived his student age memories of Pakistani visits and pleasant meetings with Islami Jamiat Talaba and Syed Abul A’la al-Maududi. The meeting was held in a pleasant and informal atmosphere. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman also presented gifts to Anwar Ibrahim on the occasion.
