Under Alkhidmat Foundation Women’s Wing Trust, panel discussion held on the topic of Holy Prophet’s Seerat

LAHORE, Oct 1 (SABAH): Under the auspices of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust, a forum was held in the mirror of Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) role model for welfare of humanity. The purpose of which is to organize the voluntary services of conscious women who have a painful heart in the field of service, challenges and problems faced by women in the light of the life of the Holy Prophet (SAW).

Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri, Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Women Wing Dr. Humaira Tariq, former Member of National Assembly Dr. Samia Raheel Qazi, President Women Wing Trust Lahore Saima Shabbir, General Secretary Saba Saqib, President JI Lahore Uzmi Imran and various philanthropists were present in the forum. Representatives of the organizations participated and expressed their views. Syed Waqas Jafri said that before the Prophet, poor people were the most oppressed section of the society.

He said the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) practically consoled this class, it was the blessings of his teachings that wealth was no longer the criteria of greatness, but piety became the criterion. He said in the teachings of the Prophet, there is not even a suspicion of personal interests behind the veil of sympathy and sorrow for this group, only the pleasure of God is intended. He said the Prophet encouraged the Muslims to help each other in difficult moments.

In the same way, collectively the members of the society and the government were also made aware of their responsibilities in this regard, informed everyone about their responsibilities towards their subjects and at the same time drew the Ummah towards it by declaring it as a single body, he said and added those who perform services for others are actually fulfilling their own needs.

Syed Waqas Jafri said that the purpose of the establishment of Alkhidmat Foundation is to serve humanity. In our view, the needy is not a person of any religion, creed or caste, but every activity and effort of Alkhidmat is simply to serve human beings.

Dr. Humaira Tariq said that Pakistan is an Islamic society, our culture and civilization is Islamic and Islam teaches and encourages us to share in each other’s sufferings. She said in Islamic society, it is obligatory to help each other not only financially, but also morally. Here, the concept of saving is that whatever will be spent for the sake of God’s creation is collected by Allah Almighty. According to the teachings of the Prophet, the descent of mercy and blessings from heaven is the result of human service, she added.

The speakers said that there was no strong political system in Arabia before the Messenger of Allah. They said because of this, there was a political and social chaos, and people’s lives and property were not safe, adding there was no one to protect them. They said cruelty with the people in ignorance and the destruction of their rights were very common. They said the Prophet made this society a society of peace, support and help to the needy.
