Rulers should organize themselves to stop atrocities of international terrorists America & Israel: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman


LAHORE, Sep 29 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the rulers of the Muslim Ummah should be aware of the facts and organize themselves to stop the atrocities of international terrorists America and Israel.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Idara Noor E Haq, Karachi. He said that Shehbaz Sharif should have presented his stand in the UNO by talking bluntly, adding he wants to please the authoritarian forces by talking about two state solution.

He said it should have been known that the Quaid-i-Azam had said that Israel is an illegitimate child of America, the rulers should not play the role of an agent but raise their voice against the atrocities of Israel.

He further said the Muslim rulers should learn from the speech of the Irish Prime Minister. He who will raise his voice against oppression of Israel will also be able to defend his people and land, adding come together and raise voice for the Palestinians.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will mark solidarity week regarding Palestine from 1st to 7th October. He said it will organize large million marches in Karachi and Islamabad, on October 7, the workers of all political and religious parties are requested to come to the streets at twelve o’clock, the government should organize it at the official level.

On this occasion, Emir Karachi Munem Zafar, Secretary Tawfiquddin Siddiqui, Deputy Secretary Qazi Sadruddin, Secretary Public Aid Committee Najeeb Ayubi, Vice President Public Aid Committee Imran Shahid and Information Secretary Karachi Zahid Askari were also present.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the government did not implement the Rawalpindi Agreement within the stipulated period, some hollow measures were announced which we do not approve. He said the IPPs agreements should be terminated and taxes should be imposed on landlords and salaried class and traders. Tax relief should be given, rulers should end their luxuries and privileges and interest rates should be reduced gradually.

He said that the referendum of Jamaat-e-Islami will continue for five days, during which ballot boxes will be kept in all public places, adding election commissions will be formed in all provinces for the referendum. He said they would contact lawyers, businessmen, scholars, women, students, schools, mosques, madrasas, villages and educational institutions.

He said that the options of wheel jam strike and long march towards Islamabad in October are also under consideration, a public referendum will be held from October 23 to 27, after that wheel jam can be announced, long marches will start from all over the country and in a large convoy, they will go to Islamabad.
