After leaving Hasina Wajid we see that it is the high time to do something to pay tribute to our predecessors: Syful Islam Shubho

DHAKA, Sep 16 (SABAH): General Secretary Nawab Salimullah Academy Dhaka Syful Islam Shubho has said that we were one nation, who was born in 1947, the 14th of August, but in 1971, we had to separate it but the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is not only for Pakistanis, we both are beneficiaries by him. He said that the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is also relevant nowadays.

This was stated by Syful Islam Shubho in an interview with a Youtube channel. Syful Islam Shubho said he has completed his graduation from the reputed university of Dhaka and he came from Barishal, adding that his grandfather was a prominent Muslim League leader in our locality, actually he has been fighting to get a Muslim country that is why is why I am continuing to do such kind of works to pay tribute to our predecessors.

Replying a question, Syful Islam Shubho said he is the General Secretary of Nawab Salimullah Academy and the name of the President of the Society is Muhammad Abdul Jabbar, now he is 70 years old. Syful Islam Shubho said he has been writing columns on/about Pakistan Movement, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Sher-e-Bangal Abdul Kasim Fazlul Haque, since 2019 that is why he offered me to do work with him and I accepted, adding that from 2009 till now, we could not arrange any kind of programme about the Pakistan Movement, 14th August, 11 September, 25 December but after leaving Hasina Wajid we see that it is the high time to do something to pay tribute to our predecessors who achieved this country that is why we had to arrange that programme.

While replying a question regarding the distribution of a book on the occasion, Syful Islam Shubho said that it’s name is in Bengali, Jati Shotta Protishthhar Itikotha, the History of Nationhood, Riots, Partitions and Independence, it was written by me and we plan to distribute such kind of books free of cost. Syful Islam Shubho said we are so happy to give them to our audience and they appreciated us so much and they were very happy.

Syful Islam Shubho said we miss the Pakistani people a lot and he does not know how to express his feelings.

It is worth mentioning here that Syful Islam Shubho had orgransied the ceremony on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary at Dhaka press club few days ago.
