Alkhidmat Foundation working on important projects across Balochistan: Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman
QUETTA Sep 15 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that the work of Alkhidmat Foundation is going on throughout Balochistan on projects, including the sponsorship of orphans, education, health, and all these projects are for the welfare of the people. He said with the financial support and support of the public, we will expand, improve and speed up our projects.
Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman expressed these views while addressing the meeting at the office of Alkhidmat Foundation, during the meeting with the delegation. The performance report so far was discussed in the meeting and decisions were made regarding the future course of action.
In the meeting, central senior vice president and former MPA Punjab Syed Ahsanullah Waqas, Vice President Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat, Provincial President Engineer Jameel Ahmad Kurd and other officials were present.
Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said spending with honesty, sincerity and good intentions regardless of color, race and region became our name, adding Allah’s pleasure and happiness and reduction of people’s problems are among our priorities. He said philanthropists should support these projects so that more people can benefit. He said Alkhidmat Foundation’s role in education, health, emergency disaster and other fields is admirable and appreciable.
He said that Alkhidmat performed valuable services in earthquakes and floods, adding there is no dearth of philanthropists in Baluchistan. May they be with us in spreading happiness and ending sorrow by relying on Alkhidmat for pleasure of Allah.
Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that education and quality health facilities are not available to the people of Balochistan, and education is getting out of their reach. The number of doctors and staff in hospitals is low, facilities are not available in this situation, he said and added it is not due to the lack of budget, but the main reason is that the revenue collected from the people but it is not in proper and honest hands.
He said education opportunities are not available to the youth of Balochistan, treatment and education are expensive, where do the poor go? 2 crore 62 lakh children are deprived of education. There will be one percent of those studying in the medical field. He said these students also spend crores of rupees while studying through a long process.
He said even after becoming a doctor, there are no encouraging opportunities available for them in the country, adding all kinds of free education including medical is the responsibility of the government. He said in such a situation, the youth are getting disappointed, as a result of the service of humanity and struggle, the darkness of despair will end and the sun of hope will rise. Alhamdulillah, together with Balochistan Pakistan, we help the distressed people around the world. Alkhidmat services for the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza are still going on, he noted.
