NA Speaker is custodian of the House, a role which requires him to be neutral & above party affiliation: Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD, Mar 13 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the National Assembly Speaker is custodian of the House, a role which requires him to be neutral and above party affiliation.

In a statement issued on Sunday on twitter, Shehbaz Sharif said that the given his conduct and statements, Asad Qaiser has come across as partisan and heavily tilted in favor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). There is a huge question mark on his role and probity.
