All stakeholders have to work together for development & prosperity of the country: President Zardari

ISLAMABAD, August 24 (SABAH): President Asif Ali Zardari has said that all stakeholders have to work together for development and prosperity of the country.

Nawab of Bahawalpur, Nawab Salah-ud-Din Ahmed Abbasi and his son Bahawal Khan Abbasi called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad on Saturday.

President Asif Ali Zardari commended the services of Nawab of Bahawalpur and his family for Pakistan especially in the social sector.

During the meeting, overall situation of the country particularly South Punjab and matters of mutual interest were discussed.

Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad on Saturday.

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and leadership of Jamiat Ulema Islam were also present in the meeting. The meeting discussed overall political situation of the country.
