Govt, state, constitutional institutions should abide by constitutional limits: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, August 22 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that the government, state and constitutional institutions should abide by the constitutional limits. He said that the responsible of the state and powerful stakeholders should behave with the nation as a real mother and not as a step mother.

In Rawalpindi and Lahore (Mansoorah), Liaqat Baloch addressed political affairs and 28 August nationwide shutdown consultative meetings with traders and political workers. While talking to district leaders of central Punjab in Mansoorah, he said that the government, state, constitutional institutions should obey the constitutional limits, if everyone keeps getting confused, the country will be destroyed and nothing will be left in anyone’s hands.

He said if the national political leadership does not give up its obstinacy, ego and self-interested stubbornness, there will be a public invasion. He said the enemies of the two-nation theory and the security and stability of Pakistan and its nuclear capability want Pakistan to be proved as an irresponsible and ungovernable state. The responsible and empowered stakeholders of the state should treat the entire nation as a real mother and not like a step mother, he added.

Liaqat Baloch said in a meeting with representatives of software houses that there are big claims of work in software, internet, online field, but the government is achieving political goals by controlling the internet itself.

He further said this work was done by the founder of PTI, General Bajwa, Mian Shehbaz Sharif did it, however, it is not good for the country and the nation as there was hope for business and employment on the front of IT, it also created uncertainty and distrust. He said that the federal and provincial governments are becoming a torment for the people due to their incompetence, failure and fire of jealousy.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will unite the entire nation to end the rotten, decayed, dysfunctional system and to make Pakistan a practical model of Islamic principles, freedom, brotherhood and equality. He said that Pakistan will be stable only with the supremacy of the constitution and freedom of justice. Liaqat Baloch said that the nationwide shutter down strike of August 28 will play an important role to bring the rulers on the right path.
