Pakistan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms & manifestations, irrespective of its motives or justifications: Yousaf Raza Gilani

ISLAMABAD, August 20 (SABAH): Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, irrespective of its motives or justifications.

This was stated by Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in his message on the occasion of the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that on the occasion of the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, we not only honor the memory of those who have tragically lost their lives but also to reaffirm a collective resolve to combat the scourge of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

He said terrorism is a universal threat that transcends borders, leaving a trail of devastation and grief in its wake. Pakistan, too, has borne the heavy burden of terrorism for decades. Thousands of our citizens, including men, women, children, soldiers, and law enforcement personnel, have sacrificed their lives in the fight against this global menace. These sacrifices have strengthened our resolve to eradicate terrorism and build a peaceful, secure, and prosperous future for our nation and for the world.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that Pakistan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, irrespective of its motives or justifications. We believe that terrorism has no religion, no ethnicity, and no justification. It is a crime against humanity, and as a responsible member of the international community, Pakistan remains committed to eliminate this threat, he said.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that as we remember the victims today, let us also pay tribute to the resilience and courage of the survivors, their families, and communities who continue to show strength in the face of unspeakable hardship. We stand in solidarity with all those affected by terrorism and pledge to continue our efforts to ensure that such heinous acts are never allowed to prevail.

“On this day, let us renew our commitment to peace, tolerance, and understanding. May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace, and may their memory continue to inspire us to work towards a just and peaceful world” Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said.
