Ishaq Dar meets with the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran

JEDDAH, Aug 7 (SABAH): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran Ali Bagheri Kani on the sidelines of open-ended Extraordinary Session of the Executive Committee of the OIC held in Jeddah. 

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed Pakistan’s deep concern and anguish at the despicable attack in Tehran that led to the assassination of the Chief of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh. He reiterated that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations including extrajudicial and extraterritorial killings. 

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan conveyed that Pakistan looked forward to working closely with the new political administration in Iran to further deepen Pak-Iran bilateral cooperation.
