Our goal is to invite women to the right path, train them & stand with them shoulder to shoulder on women’s issues: Dr. Humaira Tariq

LAHORE, July 22 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Women Wing Pakistan Dr. Humaira Tariq said that the district is a practical field of work within the party. Our scope is not limited to only female members or workers of Jamaat-e-Islami, but our target audience includes all types of women who are present in our area. Whether they are rich or poor, Muslim or non-Muslim, working women or housewives, every type of woman is part of our scope.

While addressing the reporting session of the southern Punjab province, Dr. Humaira Tariq further stated that many women’s religious circles are present near us, whose religious concepts differ from ours. However, the women’s wing of Jamaat-e-Islami is a representative organization of women.

“Our topic is women, to address women, train them, and then solve the issues related to women in a timely manner, raise our voice for them, and stand with them is our mission. Whether it’s the issue of teachers in Bahauddin Zakariya University or the case of mistreatment of nurses in hospitals, we have to raise our voice for the local women’s issues in our area.”

“She further said that the real invitation to religion is through service. Alkhidmat Foundation is present for solving public issues, but to aware people of their problems and issues, and for the invitation to religion, Jamaat-e-Islami’s local and district management is established.”

Meanwhile Deputy Secretary Atia Nisar said that to give time with all our capabilities is necessary for the invitation to religion. Thinking, planning, and considering temporary and permanent results is an important step to work for religion, she said. Nazima South Punjab Shazia Siyal also addressed the session.
