Solution of political crises is possible only by implementing decisions of judiciary: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, July 22 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Liaqat Baloch has said that the end of political crises is possible only with the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and the implementation of the decisions of the judiciary. He said there will be sit-in in Islamabad by Jamaat-e-Islami, adding that if the government wants to avoid protest and sit-in then it should take measures to provide relief to the people.
In a consultative meeting in Mansoorah and in a meeting with a delegation of lawyers and political leaders from Balochistan, Liaqat Baloch said that when the constitution, judiciary and law are put up against the wall then the situation is ruled by mob. He said powerful, empowered rulers should read the inscription on the wall that the political stability is the solution to crises, the end of political crises is only possible with the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and the implementation of the decisions of the judiciary. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will stage sit-in in Islamabad on July 26. This protest will be the voice of the people who are fed up with the prices of electricity, gas, petrol and essential commodities, he added.
If public sentiments and demands are not raised in an organized and enthusiastic manner on political grounds, then the leaderless, directionless public invasion and public crowd will bring dangerous results for all, Liaqat Baloch said and added sit-in protest will bring relief to the people. He noted if the government wants to avoid protests and sit-ins, then it should take clear steps to provide relief to the people. Till now the announcements of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Punjab are air firing and exhibition announcements, the people are not getting any relief, he added.
Maulana Ismail Shujaabadi, the central leader of the World Council of Khatman-i-Nububat, Maulana Abdul Aziz Sani met Liaqat Baloch and invited him to the Golden Jubilee Conference of the Pakistan Minar Tahafus-e-Khatm-i-Nabuwat on September 7.
