Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan inaugurates the 56th hospital worth Rs 100 miln


RAWALPINDI, July 22 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has inaugurated the 56th hospital worth Rs 100 million.

Central President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Regional President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khalid Waqas, former provincial minister Inayatullah Khan and prominent personalities from various walks of life participated in the opening ceremony.

Alkhidmat Hamida Mumtaz Hospital Upper Dir with 30 beds has been established on an area of 2 kanals, where affordable and quality facilities equipped with modern technology are provided to the people including the backward classes. In the second phase, with the increase of 30 beds, a hospital will be made with 60 beds.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that Alkhidmat Foundation has previously stood as a lifeline for the underprivileged through 55 hospitals, health centers and diagnostic centers and mobile health units across Pakistan. He said the establishment of a new modern hospital will bring considerable benefits to the people of the area. He said that last year, Alkhidmat Foundation served more than 10 million patients at a cost of Rs 9.16 billion. Donors and volunteers are our assets due to which we continue the mission of serving the suffering humanity. He said they are grateful to the donors who have provided modern hospital facilities to the underprivileged areas.
