They will consult allies in Parliament to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf:  Khawaja Asif

SIALKOT, July 16 (SABAH): Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that they will consult allies in Parliament to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).

Talking to the media in Sialkot, Khawaja Asif said that we will move ahead in Parliament with the consultation of allies. He said the aim of PTI is only power, adding the woman member of PTI says that if there is no Khan, then there is no Pakistan, this is the principle of their politics. He said according to me, Pakistan is the most important, this is what we are, without him, personal life has no meaning, but PTI’s movements say that if there is no Khan, then there is no Pakistan.

Talking about Article 6, he said that I don’t know who applied Article 6 but it was applied to me. The Defense Minister said that when there was a motion of no confidence, the way he dissolved the House, then Article 6 should be imposed on him and action must be taken. No institution is above the integrity of Pakistan, he said, and added they go to external powers and persuade them to speak against Pakistan.

What happened on May 9 was an attack on the existence of Pakistan, he noted. He said what Attaullah has said is absolutely correct, I was told which institutions are crossing the constitutional limits, the biggest weapon is contempt of court whenever it is used.

The insult that happened on May 9, the blood of the martyrs was insulted, he noted. He said there is no punishment for insulting our defense, but if someone speaks loudly in the court, it becomes contempt of court. All constitutional institutions deserve protection, he added. He said such decisions should be given by the courts which are not political in nature but these should be constitutional in nature.
