They do not believe in the exploitative system, sit-in in Islamabad will continue until acceptance of demands: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

LAYYAH, July 8 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that what kind of system is this in which the privileged class, politicians, judges, generals and top bureaucrats use electricity for free and the common man pays heavy bills. He said they don’t accept this exploitative system, adding from July 12 onwards, Jamaat-e-Islami will gather the oppressed from across the country and hold a sit-in in Islamabad. He said the protest will continue until the demands are accepted, adding the rulers who are slaves of International Monetary Fund (IMF) should stop dropping electricity bombs on the nation.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a gathering on the occasion of the inauguration of Alkhidmat Hospital Layyah. He praised the institutions providing services in the fields of health education and disaster across the country under Alkhidmat Foundation and congratulated the team.  Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab South Rao Zafar Iqbal and Emir Jamaat-e-Islami District Layyah Mubashar Naeem Chaudhry were also present on the occasion.

President Alkhidmat Foundation Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman gave a briefing. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the talented youth of Pakistan cannot be left at the mercy of the oppressive elites, adding they will give IT education to 10 lakh youth in two years so that the youth can earn jobs and bring foreign exchange to the country.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said the resource-possessing elite has made education for sale, adding it could not provide the basic needs like education, health and employment to the nation, and now under the slab system of electricity, which is difficult to live without, high bills have led to people committing suicide. He asked do the rulers want people to set themselves on fire, commit suicide? Jamaat-e-Islami shows a ray of hope to the oppressed, come to the field for their problems, he added.

He said that this system, which has been entrusted to them, has descended on genocide, adding they were already doing enmity with education and failed to provide basic facilities like employment and health. He said they make a lot of noise but they have done nothing for the people. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami has proved that it has a talented team which is serving the country and the nation as sincere workers. He said that for 77 years, the system of the country is in the hands of the elite who want to destroy the poor and middle class.
