25th martyrdom anniversary of Kargil war Hero, Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan Haider observed

RAWALPINDI/GILGIT/ISLAMABAD, July 07 (SABAH): 25th martyrdom anniversary of Kargil war Hero, Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan Haider was observed with respect and veneration.

On the occasion, Quran khawani and prayers were organized in mosques across the country. 

Religious scholars have paid glowing tributes to the great sacrifice of Havaldar Lalak Jan and emphasized that it is obligatory on everyone to honour the martyrs.

They said the whole nation is indebted to the martyrs.            

Shaheed Havaldar Lalak Jan was a brave son of soil who will always live in the minds and hearts of the people. 

Meanwhile Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to Havildar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider on his 25th martyrdom anniversary.

In a statement today, the Prime Minister said Havildar Lalak Jan shaheed showed great courage and bravery and sacrificed his life for the motherland.                      

He said the great sacrifice of Havildar Lalak Jan is an epitome of the unwavering determination of Pak Army to defend the country.                      

Shehbaz Sharif said Havildar Lalak Jan and his family are a pride for the entire nation including me.

He said the whole nation salutes the patriotism and devotion of armed forces of Pakistan which are defending the borders of the country from the deep waters of Arabian sea to the freezing cold of Siachen.            

He said the nation can never forget the great martyrs who sacrifice their lives for the sake of the country.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs paid homage to Havildar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his 25th martyrdom anniversary observed on Sunday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations, on this day, Havildar Lalak Jan demonstrated unwavering courage and selflessness, laying down his life in the line of duty during the Kargil conflict.

ISPR further said Lalak Jan’s valor and altruism continue to inspire future generations of brave soldiers. The highest honor is bestowed upon those who sacrifice their lives for the nation’s defence.

The nation remains forever grateful to its valiant soldiers for their unwavering commitment to protecting the motherland at all costs.
