Govt Assurance Committee chairman elected

ISLAMABAD, June 28 (SABAH): The Senate Standing Committee on Government Assurances convened a meeting at the Parliament House. The meeting was conducted to elect its chairman.

Abdul Shakoor Khan has been elected as the chairman of the committee.

Sardar Al Haj Muhammad Umer Gorgaij proposed the candidacy of the newly elected chairman, seconded by Syedaal Khan Nasir Deputy Chairman of the Senate.

The newly elected chairman expressed gratitude to the committee for their confidence in appointing him to this role. He pledged to work alongside his committee members to effectively manage committee affairs.
