Due to confrontation between establishment, judiciary & govt, the country & nation are losing: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, June 06 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that the country and the nation are losing in the confrontation between the establishment, the judiciary and the government. If the civil bureaucracy and the military establishment are willing wholeheartedly, Pakistan will come out of all kinds of crises.
Addressing the consultation meeting in Mansoorah and Lahore, Liaqat Baloch said that country and the nation are losing in the confrontation between the establishment, the judiciary and the government, adding might be it is not visible. Parliamentary and constitutional foundations have been distorted by military dictatorships and incompetent political democratic rulers, he said. If the politicians, government, judiciary, civil bureaucracy and military establishment wholeheartedly agree to uphold the 1973 constitution, Pakistan will come out of all kinds of crises, he added.
He said that Punjab, the largest province of the country in terms of population, is deprived of local body elections and local institutions, adding the local body rights of Islamabad were taken away from the people. By making the local government system of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa powerless, the intervention of the provincial governments and the removal of the powers of the local government bodies practically paralyzed the whole system, he said.
Liaqat Baloch while talking to the youth of JI Youth said that the relationship between the Pakistani state and the society has been reduced to the weakest level by the self-interested rulers and those who have the power of divide and rule. He said the modern age of technology and the abundance of fast means of social communication have taken the youth out of the past and brought them to a different place.
The youth of Pakistan has immense love for Pakistan, our youth has great potential, the powerful and ruling classes must recognize the mistakes of the past and move forward with the spirit of reconstruction instead of blaming.
