ISLAMABAD, June 02 (SABAH): Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma, chargé d’affaires and acting ambassador of the Indonesian Embassy along with his delegation, met with Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan (CEO The Centaurus, President IDA). The meeting focused on discussing trade opportunities between Indonesia and Pakistan.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan assured the Indonesian delegation of full cooperation and facilitation in trade matters within Pakistan.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan stated that the Chambers of Commerce and Industries in Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot will extend their full support to boost trade between Indonesia and Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan also highlighted Pakistan’s immense trade potential, noting that the country manufactures high-quality and reasonably priced products that have a significant market internationally. He expressed confidence in Pakistan’s ability to contribute to the growth of bilateral trade with Indonesia. The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their commitment to exploring new avenues for collaboration and fostering stronger economic ties between Indonesia and Pakistan. The Indonesian delegation appreciated the warm welcome and the assurance of support from the Pakistani business community.
