Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad protest at 92 locations of the city against Israeli aggression in Gaza

ISLAMABAD, May 31 (SABAH): On the call of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, protests were held at 92 locations in Islamabad like the rest of the country to express solidarity with the Palestinians and against the Israeli aggression in Gaza.

The protests were led by Naib Emir Mian Muhammad Aslam, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Engineer Nasrullah Randhawa, Naib Emir Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry, Malik Abdul Aziz and Zonal and UC Nazmin.

The protestors carried banners on which slogans were written for the rights of Palestine and against Israel and the United States. A large number of citizens participated in the protests. Addressing the protestors on this occasion, Mian Muhammad Aslam said that Israel is committing genocide against the oppressed Palestinians, while the rulers of the Muslim Ummah are sleeping; they do not hear the screams of the mothers, sisters and children of Palestine. Israel has no war with the Palestinians because the war is between two armies, he said.

The entire Gaza has become a ruin due to the bombing of the Israeli army, he said, and added we are asking where are all the Muslim rulers and military commanders, where is Pakistan standing? A member of the French Parliament is waving the flag of Palestine, but the Muslim rulers are doing nothing, he said and added America and all Western countries stand with Israel.

Nasrullah Randhawa said that we demand the government of Pakistan that like Norway, Ireland and Spain have recognized Palestine, Pakistan should also recognize the government of Hamas.

He said that Hamas is the one which is fighting at the moment against Israel. Our second demand is that if Pakistan cannot do anything else, then the world should stand against the ongoing oppression, brutality and genocide of Muslims, he said and added the summit of the countries containing 57 countries should be held in Islamabad and its one-point agenda should be Palestine. He said that Pakistan is an atomic power that has a missile system, adding Pakistan Army should do its responsibility to save Palestine.
