Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani congratulates the nation on the launch of Pakistan’s second communication satellite, Paksat MM1

ISLAMABAD, May 30 (SABAH): Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has congratulated the nation on the launch of Pakistan’s second communication satellite, Paksat MM1.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani appreciated the efforts of scientists and engineers for the launch of Paksat MM1. The Acting President expressed hope that the success of our space journey will continue.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, who was present at the launch site in China said the satellite will provide important connectivity to Pakistan from the orbit. He said the day is not far when we will launch our satellites from our own rockets.
