Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan starts preparations of Qurbani Fi Sabilillah project
ISLAMABAD, May 25 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has started the preparations of Qurbani Fi Sabilillah project. 6,000 cows and 4,000 goats and sheep will be sacrificed on Eidul Azha this year by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan for the affected Palestinians of Gaza and orphans, widows and other deserving Pakistanis. Over 2 million people will benefit from the Qurbani Fi Sabilillah project of the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan.
For the affectees of Gaza, while following the international standards the sacrificial meat in half cooked tin packs will be dispatched which could be used in two years.
Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and President Community Services Zikrullah Mujahid has said that Gaza is facing the severe shortage of food, adding that bitter reality has also come forward in Pakistan in result of the experience of several decades that there is a huge number of people who only eat meat on the occasion of the Eidul Azha, adding that the Qurbani Fi Sabilillah campaign will continue for these segments.
Zikrullah Mujahid said that the large chunk of the sacrificial animals consist of the sacrificial animals donated by overseas Pakistanis and organizations along with Pakistani philanthropists. He said that as the Alkhidmat Foundation keeps the vast experience of Qurbani Fi Sabilillah in whole country so the philanthropists living abroad send their money for purchasing the sacrificial animals to Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, adding that Alkhidmat Foundation while completing all the phases of Qurbani, make arrangements for dispatching the meat to the deserving persons.
Zikrullah Mujahid said that while keeping in mind the latest trends, latest methods are adopted to dispatch the meat to the deserving people in far flung areas of the country. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation performs the process of sacrificing the animals in slaughter houses along with adopting the traditional methods. He said that the process of slaughtering, cutting and packaging of the meat is done through latest machines and while following the hygienic atmosphere under the supervision of the experienced staff.
Zikrullah Mujahid said that Alkhidmat Foundation is the countrywide organization and its volunteers are present all four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation has prepared the Qurbani Software for making the process more transparent.
