Demands of lawyers should be sorted out peacefully: Hasan Javed Shorash

ISLAMABAD, May 9 (SABAH): Shutter down strike was observed in Islamabad District and Session Courts over the police torture and arrest of lawyers in Lahore.

General Secretary Islamabad Bar Hasan Javed Shorash said that torture and arrest of peaceful protest of lawyers is a cruel act. He said that peaceful protest is a constitutional and democratic right of the lawyers. He said they express complete solidarity with the lawyers of Lahore Bar Association.

He further said that demands of lawyers should be sorted out peacefully. He said that current situation don’t warrant any anarchy and demands of the lawyers should be listened to.
