President Asif Ali Zardari receives Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi

ISLAMABAD, April 22 (SABAH): President Asif Ali Zardari has said that he was honoured to welcome his brother Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of Iran.

In a statement issued on X, President Asif Ali Zardari said that we expressed satisfaction at the trajectory of bilateral ties and agreed to further strengthen our dialogue and cooperation to reinforce existing ties.

Pakistan and Iran are bound by common religion, history and culture, President Asif Ali Zardari said.

Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Senator Saleem Mandviwala, Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam and other high officials were also present on the occasion.
