Due to the torrential rains in the country, 33 persons have lost their lives, 27 injured: Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

KABUL, April 15 (SABAH): Unfortunately, due to the torrential rains in the country, 33 persons have lost their lives, 27 injured, 1955 acres of agricultural land and 606 houses have been washed away by the rains.

According to the statement issued by Ministry of Disaster Management, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), similarly, 85 kilometers of main and secondary roads have been damaged.

The Ministry of Disaster Management in coordination with the ministries of defense, interior, social affairs and local authorities have provided immediate relief to the victims and have still been working to provide aid to rain-affected areas.
