On Eid ul Fitr, Shah prays Allah to ease sufferings of Muslims in conflict hit regions

SRINAGAR, April 9 (SABAH): Incarcerated chairman Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmed Shah, while urging well-off people to come to the rescue of the poor, destitute, needy and the orphans, has asked them to observe Eid-ul-Fitr with austerity and simplicity. 

Felicitating the Muslims throughout the world, who are caught between the crosshairs of conflict and unending violence, the DFP Chairman in his message from Tihar jail prayed to the Almighty Allah to ease the sufferings Muslims and help them come out this terrible situation.

He lamented that the Palestine and Kashmiri Muslims have been caught in a whirlpool of violence for decades with innocent people being killed ruthlessly at the hands of occupation forces.

He said that there was a dire need that the Muslim Ummah should adopt a unified stand on these age-old disputes and stand in unity against the fascist regimes that have broken all records of savagery.

Referring to Kashmiris’ historic struggle Shah expressed his optimism that the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people would never go in vain. Reiterating Kashmiris’ resolve to carry forward the struggle, he said that the ongoing liberation struggle would continue until it reaches its logical conclusion.

Shah, while lauding the sacrifices and struggle of the Kashmiri people, said that the valiant people of Kashmir have scripted a new history of resistance against the Indian imperialism. 

He paid great tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs, who have laid down their lives for the noble cause of freedom. He also hailed Hurriyat activists and leaders for their resolve and steadfastness toward the resistance movement.
