JKLF condemns Indian act of banning it for next 5 more years
SRINAGAR, March 16 (SABAH): The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Saturday strongly condemned Indian MoHA’s act of declaring it Unlawful Association for next 5 more years.
In a statement issued from party’s central information office, the JKLF Chief Spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar has termed the extention of ban on a peaceful political party like JKLF as immoral, undemocratic and illegal.
While expressing his concern over the extention of ban on JKLF, the spokesman has said that extention of ban on the most vibrant political party like JKLF means choking of people’s most popular voice in Jammu Kashmir for next five more years.
India last time unlawfully banned JKLF in March 2019 and arrested its top leadership including the incarcerated Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik in fake, farcical and politically motivated cases, he informed.
The spokesman made it clear that India with use of such coercive tactics is not going to subdue freedom loving people of the State of Jammu Kashmir. He said that India in Kashmir wants a graveyard like silence with the help of her huge occupational military presence in the State.
The statement read that unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the freedom loving people of Jammu Kashmir for the cherished cause of national independence cannot go waste. He said that the people of the State, in any way and at any cost, are going to uphold the towering sacrifices rendered so for in the freedom struggle.
The spokesman expressed his resolve to continue the political and diplomatic endeavours of party at all levels for national independence of Jammu Kashmir until its success.
