National political leadership should ponder over seriousness of situation & past mistakes should be compensated: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Mar 5 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch has said that national political leadership should ponder over the seriousness of the situation and past mistakes should be compensated. He said that interference of establishment into politics, elections and parliamentary system should come to an end.

Liaqat Baloch expressed these views while addressing consultative meeting and workers convention at Mansoorah on Tuesday. He said once again two families were imposed on the country. In the past, he said the nation was disappointed by Sharif family and Bhutto family. For getting rid of this occupation, he said the people started loving Imran Khan but it is a sad reality that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is also handless in front of two families.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami would organize the masses in the democratic Pakistan with character, ability, human services and honesty to bring supremacy of Constitution and law in the country. He said that economic crisis would not end through World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and bowing down in front of oppressive forces but by saying goodbye to expenditures on luxuries and protocols.

He said that Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif should take this initiative and announce to abolish interest system while acting upon the verdict of Federal Shariat Court. About writing a letter to the IMF by PTI founder, he said it is tantamount to further weaken the country.

Liaqat Baloch condemned the hooting and immoral conversation of PTI workers against a women member assembly in visitor gallery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly. He stressed upon the party leadership to take action against such people. Presidential candidate Mahmood Khan Achakzai also called Baloch and requested for vote. Naib emir Jamaat-e-Islami condemned illegal raid on residence of Mahmood Khan Achakzai and expressed grief over the event.

He said national political leadership should ponder over the seriousness of the situation and past mistakes should be compensated, adding the interference of establishment into politics, elections and parliamentary system should come to an end.  He said solution of political and democratic crisis is possible only through political process.
