Being unfaithful with Kashmir Movement is tantamount to rebellion with religion: Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD, March 3 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that being unfaithful with Kashmir Movement is tantamount to rebellion with the religion and Jamaat-e-Islami will not allow anyone to play with the movement.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing the Markazi Majlis-e-Shoora of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan. On this occasion, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan thanked emir Jamaat-e-Islami and briefed him about political situation of Occupied Kashmir. In the meeting, former emir Jamaat-e-Islami Abdur Rashid Turabi, Dr Khalid Mehmood Khan and other leadership were present.

Sirajul Haq said that in this cruel era, Islamic movements are being dealt with the same attitude which was done with the Holy Prophets. He said the West very trickily conveyed masses that their religion is same as those of rulers. In Pakistan, he said the ruling parties have their last election. If Election Commission of Pakistan, courts and establishment remain impartial then the people will make just decisions.

He further deplored that our education system and economic system are being made by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other international institutions. He lamented what the Muslim have to see and what is to hear are being decided by the west. Who would be rulers of 57 Islamic countries is also being decided by the west, he noted. He said they wanted to get free Muslim from this continuous slavery.

Sirajul Haq said that there is need of global revolution in the global village and added that the west is changing thinking of Muslims through media while conveying them that their religion is same as those of rulers.

He further said that interest based system has made life of common citizen very tough and added it Jamaat-e-Islami was kept out of the Parliament through a conspiracy but it would bring a change by putting in order the public opinion in a democratic way.

Sirajul Haq said that people have understood that conventional parties and corrupt leadership could not resolve their problems, adding only Jamaat-e-Islami could take the country out of crisis. He said that the Kashmir issue is the matter of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
