Rule of Islam is the only solution to security & integrity of Pakistan: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, Feb 07 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former Parliamentary Leader Liaqat Baloch while addressing Kahuta Workers Convention, Lahore Political Committee members said that the rulers should stop deviating from Islam, the rule of Islam is the only solution to the security and integrity of Pakistan. The curse of interest, debt, bribery, corruption has made Pakistan a beggar all over the world. Enforcement of the Constitution, provision of social, judicial, economic and social justice can strengthen national unity and national harmony. Pakistan, with its independent, nuclear capability and excellent geographical status, can restore dignity with the unity of the Ummah, free and dignified foreign policy. The country is being disgraced by begging from every country, expanding hands for loans and aid. Government, state, national leadership should create consensus on national priorities.
Liaqat Baloch offered condolences on the sad demise of the mother of Sardar Atiq-ur-Rehman Abbasi, wife of former Finance and Foreign Minister Sartaj Aziz and visited Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam at Islamabad Hospital.
Talking on the occasion, Liaqat Baloch said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China was unprepared, without a unified foreign strategy and without a clear vision for implementation of the CPEC plan. If every visit is for aid, loans and dollars then there will be nothing but disgrace and disrespect as output. By maintaining the continuity of past failures, Imran Khan’s government has created major crises for the country and nation on every front.
Talking to reporters in Kahuta, Liaqat Baloch said that the people of Kahuta and Chaghai (Balochistan) had made great sacrifices for the sake of the entire nation to achieve nuclear capability. The federal and provincial governments have not kept their promises to the people of Kahuta and Chaghai. The Islamabad Expressway from Kahuta, Azad Kashmir is a manifestation of ruins and destruction. Governments are insensitive and addicted to hurting the people. Jamaat-e-Islami has started sit-ins all over the country from Gujarat for the solution to people’s problems, exposition of government incompetence and failure. 101 sit-ins across the country will awaken the people, organize them and mobilize them for their rights, to make Pakistan Islamic and prosperous.
Liaqat Baloch said that the dignified life, empowered local government electoral system is the basic right of the people. To get the country out of the crisis, a big consensus with honesty is needed at the national level, but the disintegration of the country’s so-called major parties and religious parties has made coalition politics a taboo subject on the national front. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its struggle to end crises with the strength of trust in the people and trust in Allah.
