Jamaat-e-Islami will not bow down in front of establishment for winning elections like other parties: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, Jan 23 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and candidate from NA-128 and NA-123, Liaqat Baloch while addressing women workers convention at a local hall has said that Jamaat-e-Islami will not bow down in front of establishment for winning elections like the other parties.
Liaqat Baloch said that all tactics of civil and army bureaucracy have failed and added now they should change their attitude as country’s decision should be done by the people of the country. After coming into power, Jamaat-e-Islami will ensure all the rights to the women which have been promised by Islam with them, he added.
He further said that candidates for national and provincial assemblies have completed 1000 programs and added “Scale” is a symbol of peace and justice. We have always struggled for the rights of the masses. Jamaat-e-Islami has always made political struggle according to supremacy of Constitution and law, he added; however, some candidates who are in opposition are violating ECP’s code and conduct.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami gave its manifesto first of all and they will ensure implementation on it. In the manifesto, issues of the women have also been discussed; he said and added after coming into power, they would ensure their right to inheritance. He said they would ensure respect and honor of the women.
Liaqat Baloch said that independent candidates cannot stand in front of establishment so it is requested to voters to vote in favour of Jamaat-e-Islami while showing their confidence in it. God-willing they would ensure supremacy of justice and law in the country, he said and added now time of new and old blew-eyed has come to an end.
