JKLF expresses grief & sorrow over the death of maternal uncle of Muhammad Yasin Malik
ISLAMABAD, Jan 20 (SABAH): The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) in a statement issued from central information office on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of maternal uncle (Mamu) of incarcerated chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik in Srinagar.
The party spokesman in his statement informed that Muhammad Shafi breathed his last at midnight due to cardiac failure. The deceased was a cardiac patient and had undergone bypass surgery four years ago, he added.
On behalf of the entire party leadership, the spokesman extended condolences to the bereaved family, the statement read. He prayed for his magfirah and grant of highest place in Jannah and offered prayers for the utmost patience to the bereaved family especially to the mother of Yasin Malik.
Party leadership attended the jinaza and funeral of Muhammad Shafi this morning in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, the party spokesman in the statement expressed his deep grief over the death of elder sister of JKLF senior leader in Kotli Raja Shahid. She also died on Friday evening and was buried at her ancestral graveyard in Kotli on Saturday, the statement read. The spokesman said that the entire party leadership in Kotli attended her Jinaza and expressed condolences to Raja Shahid. The leadership prayed for her magfirah and patience for the bereaved family, he added.
