Now people are aware so they would not allow rule of families & those coming into power one after other: Sirajul Haq

SAMAR BAGH, Jan 15 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that now people are aware so they would not allow rule of families and those coming into power one after other. He said such political parties comprising families wanted to sustain status quo.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing at constituency NA-6, Samar Bagh here on Monday. Candidate for PK-17 Azazul Mulk Afkari was also present on the occasion. He further said that they consider transformation of power to the people as nightmare.

He said Jamaat-e-Islami is of the view that way of peace and stability passes through polling station, adding adjournment motions in the Senate have no significance as they these are damaging respect of the House.

After coming into power, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami would put an end to inflation and interest system would be banned in the country. He said the corrupt and tested rulers would not put an end to corruption, adding Jamaat-e-Islami always put its efforts for the rights of the people.

He urged the masses to vote in favour of “Scale” and added they pledge to not disappoint the people after coming into power. During the elections drive, a hundreds of people joined Jamaat-e-Islami. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that former ruling parties wanted to deceive people like the past but their governments’ progress is zero. God forbid if they come in the government again, the situation of the country will remain as it is.

Sirajul Haq said that in democratic and developed countries, people are allowed to make decision so Pakistanis should also be given their right. Any party other than Jamaat-e-Islami did not conduct transparent intra party elections, he said and added when judiciary will be independent then the country will make development. A common citizen is disturbed over the plight of the country, he added.
