Income Group having monthly income b/w Rs. 22,889 and Rs.29,517 have faced inflation 47.48% during Jan 2023 to Jan 2024: PBS

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (SABAH): Income Group having monthly income between Rs. 22,889 and Rs.29,517 have been worst victim of price hike of the commodities of their use and have faced inflation 47.48 percent during January 2023 to January 2024.

According to the details released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), income group earning Rs.17,732 per month was forced to bear the burden of 36.06 percent increase in prices during the said period

Income group having income between Rs.17,733 to Rs.22,888  per month were forced to face price hike to the tune of 41.24 percent in one year period.

Workers in Pakistan earning between Rs.22,889 to Rs.29,517 per month  have been the worst victim of price hike of 41.48 percent in this period.

Peoples in Pakistan having monthly income ranging between 29, 518 to Rs.44.175 per month were faced hike in the prices of their daily used items up to 44.95percent.

Peoples having income above Rs.44,175 per month have witnessed hike in prices of their daily use up to 42.71 percent,  and combined burden to the tune of 44.16 percent was faced by the all income groups during the last one year, the data revealed. 

Commodities which witnessed hike in the prices, that effected to common man in the country, Gas Charges Q 1 1108.59 Percent, Tomatoes 155.83 percent, Chicken Farm Broiler (Live) 19 percent, Petrol Super 24.41 Percent, Hi-Speed diesel 21.22 percent.
