Hamas Spokesperson Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi visits Senate of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Jan 05 (SABAH): Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed has said that Pakistan fully supports the Palestinian people, adding that the people of Pakistan, the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the Parliament of Pakistan and I am sure that the government can not be away from the aspirations of people of Pakistan, we will stand firmly with Palestine till an independent Palestine State is established with Al-Quds al-Sharif it’s Capital, long live the Palestinian struggle for freedom.

This was stated by Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed in Pakistan Parliament to welcome Hamas Special Representative and Spokesperson Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi, who was specially honoured & invited to Pakistan Parliament. Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi watched the Senate proceedings.

Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed said “today is the very important day in the Parliament of Pakistan and it is befitting that Senate of Pakistan, which is the part of our Parliament has the unique distinction and honor to welcome his Excellency Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi, the representative of Hamas in Palestine, adding that he is from Gaza”. Mushahid Hussain Sayed said that we are proud of the Palestinian brothers, especially Hamas, which is the democratically elected organization of the people of Palestine, who is great Mujahid, he is here to represent the aspirations of the people of Palestine.

He said that 18 years ago in this very chamber we had the honor to invite the Palestinian former foreign minister Mahmoud al-Zahar, adding that it was the time of general Musharraf and I talked to the government of at that time and we were the first Muslim country to give $1 million donation to the Hamas government and to Mahmoud al-Zahar.

Mushahid Hussain Sayed said we have the track record and I want to assure the Palestinian brothers that Palestine is the part of our DNA because the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who focused on Palestine even prior to the creation of Pakistan, adding that I salute the Palestinian Mujahideen of Hamas, specially “Toofan al-Gaza” on 7th October 2023, which has been a game changer. He said that thanks to 1,400 Mujahideen who launched “Toofan al-Gaza” on 7th October, the myth of Israeli invincibility, the myth of Israeli impregnability has been shattered and they have shown that might is not right but right is might.
