Current obsolete system would be destroyed on February 8: Sirajul Haq
LAHORE, Dec 21 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that current obsolete system would be destroyed on February 8 and people of the country will win.
Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing labour convention at Railways Headquarters. Railways PREM Union organized the convention. Secretary General Ameerul Azeem, Deputy Secretary General Muhammad Asghar, Secretary Information Qaisar Shareef, Emir Lahore Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, Chaudhry Abdul Ahad, President PREM Union Sheikh Anwar, Secretary PREM union Khair Muhammad Tonio and other leaders also were present on the occasion.
He said the US wanted that those people who are loyal to it should remain in power but people do not like the consistency of same parties in the politics.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami with the help of loborers, growers and common citizens of the country would defeat agents of oppressors. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami also opposed selling off Pakistan Railways and other national institutions and added that railways is a transport which is used by the poor people but it was destroyed by mafia. Like all other institutions, Ministry of Finance should take the responsibility of providing salaries to the employees.
He went on to say that 12,000 employees who working on contractual basis should be regularized and vacant posts should be filled with the children of laborers on merit. He said taking pensions is the right of employees. Timely provision of salaries and pensions should be ensured, emir Jamaat-e-Islami added.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami is standing by labor of Railways which is why they should not consider themselves helpless. We would ensure safeguard of rights of 70 million labourers and small farmers, he said and added deprived segments of the society should select the symbol of scale for prosperous, welfare and Islamic Pakistan.
He said two systems in a same country could not be run and added no society could run with cruelty. It has been over 75 years that exploitation of common citizens of Pakistan is underway. Same people change parties and remain in power, he said and added there is no difference among policies of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
