Alkhidmat Foundation sets up Alkhidmat Camp Office in Cairo, Egypt to monitor & speedup aid activities in Gaza, Palestine: Syed Waqas Jafri


RAWALPINDI, Dec 11 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has set up Alkhidmat Camp Office in Cairo, Egypt to monitor and speedup aid activities in Gaza, Palestine.

Talking about establishment of Camp Office Cairo, Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri during his visit to Egypt said that Alkhidmat Foundation with donations of donors is continuing aid activities for depressed people of Gaza from Pakistan.

He said motif behind establishment of Camp Office in Cairo is to monitor and speedup aid activities in Gaza and coordinating other Pakistani Pakistan NGOs and overseas community regarding provision of assistance to Gaza.

Syed Waqas Jafri said that warehouse has also been established in Cairo where packing of food package is underway. After the relief items get ready it would be shifted to Al-Raish near Gaza border through trucks and in the next phase these packages would be transported to victims of Gaza, he added.

In the aid items, there are flour, rice, pulses, oil and hygiene kits for the women, secretary general noted. He further thanked the donors and added their donations would be transported to victims of Gaza as Alkhidmat’s management is day and night working over it.
